How does live sharing work?
Each live session gets a short join code, a link, and a QR code. Viewers scan the QR code or type the code at showslide.com/join, then stay in sync with your slides in real time. No sign-up or downloads required.
Do viewers need to sign up?
No. Anyone with the session link or QR code can join immediately, on any device. Joining creates an anonymous guest profile so the presenter can see attendance and responses. It is removed after 90 days without activity.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. You can use Showslide for free with limited functionality and upgrade only when you need more features.
Can I edit slides while presenting?
Yes. Changes and highlights are reflected instantly for everyone in the session.
Is Showslide a good alternative to Google Slides?
